Microneedling – Custom Regenerative Skin Treatment
Microneedling is an advanced regenerative skin treatment designed to improve overall skin quality, strengthen skin structure, and stimulate collagen production while delivering targeted regenerative solutions deep into the skin.
This treatment combines hydradermabrasion, Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP), facial contouring techniques, microneedling, and cold hammer therapy to prepare the skin, maximise absorption of active ingredients, and support optimal healing.
Microneedling works by creating controlled microchannels in the skin, triggering the body’s natural repair response. This process stimulates fresh collagen and elastin production while allowing regenerative solutions to reach deeper layers of the skin where they can work most effectively.
Because the treatment works with the skin’s natural regeneration processes, it can be tailored to address a wide range of skin concerns while improving overall skin health and resilience.
Why This Treatment Is a Step Above
This protocol goes beyond traditional microneedling by layering technologies that prepare the skin, enhance absorption, and reduce inflammation.
Hydradermabrasion deeply cleanses the skin and clears congestion from pores before treatment begins. Cold Atmospheric Plasma calms inflammation, strengthens the skin barrier, and increases skin permeability so regenerative solutions can penetrate more effectively during microneedling.
Following treatment, cooling therapy helps calm the skin, reduce redness, and support recovery while sealing in the regenerative actives.
This layered approach allows the skin to respond better to treatment, heal faster, and produce stronger collagen regeneration than microneedling alone.
Why Microneedling Is So Versatile
Microneedling works with your skin’s natural regeneration processes, making it one of the most adaptable treatments for improving skin quality.
By stimulating collagen and elastin production while delivering regenerative solutions into the dermis, the treatment can improve a wide range of skin concerns at the same time.
Microneedling can help to:
• Improve skin density for plumper, bouncier skin
• Create a smoother, more refined skin texture
• Reduce the appearance of acne scars and post-acne marks
• Improve pigmentation and uneven skin tone
• Refine enlarged pores and congestion
• Support firmer, tighter skin through collagen stimulation
• Restore hydration and radiance for a fresh, glowing complexion
• Strengthen the skin barrier so skin becomes healthier and more resilient
The result is skin that looks clearer, smoother, stronger, and naturally luminous, with improvements continuing as collagen regeneration develops over the following weeks.
Treatment Protocol
Every microneedling treatment follows a structured protocol designed to prepare the skin, enhance absorption of regenerative solutions, and support optimal healing.
Hydradermabrasion
A fluid-based cleansing treatment that removes debris, excess oil, and congestion from pores while infusing hydration. This step leaves the skin deeply cleansed and primed for treatment.
Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP)
Cold plasma is applied to calm inflammation, strengthen the skin barrier, and increase skin permeability. This helps the skin absorb regenerative solutions more effectively during microneedling.
Facial Contouring
This step helps improve circulation and definition through the lower face before microneedling.
Depending on your skin needs, one of the following techniques may be used:
Lymphatic Massage (Face & Jawline)
A gentle manual drainage technique designed to stimulate circulation and support lymphatic flow. This helps reduce puffiness, improve skin vitality, and prepare the skin to respond more effectively to microneedling.
Sculpt Contouring
For clients wanting additional definition through the lower face, this may include:
• Cavitation (under-chin only) — uses low-frequency ultrasound to break down fluid and superficial fat that can soften jawline definition
• Vacuum RF along the jawline — combines gentle suction with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production, tighten the skin, and enhance jawline contour
Only one contouring technique is used during treatment depending on your skin goals.
Microneedling + Regenerative Delivery
Microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin, stimulating collagen production while allowing regenerative solutions to penetrate deeper layers of the skin.
The treatment can be performed using:
• PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
• Exosomes (DERMAREN®)
• Polynucleotides (Plinest® One / Glutanex® Glow / INNO-TDS® DNA Pept-HA)
Each option works slightly differently to support skin regeneration, and your practitioner may recommend the most suitable approach based on your skin concerns and treatment goals.
Cold Hammer Finish
A cooling therapy that calms the skin, reduces redness, and helps seal in regenerative actives while supporting recovery.
Exosome Microneedling — Advanced Cellular Regeneration
This treatment uses DERMAREN® Exosomes, designed to support cellular communication and skin repair.
Exosomes are microscopic vesicles containing proteins, growth factors, and signalling molecules that help coordinate skin healing and regeneration.
When delivered through microneedling microchannels they help:
• Stimulate collagen and elastin production
• Improve skin texture and smoothness
• Support repair of acne scarring
• Improve pigmentation and uneven tone
• Enhance hydration and skin glow
Exosome microneedling is often chosen for advanced skin regeneration and overall skin revitalisation.
Polynucleotide Microneedling — Deep Repair & Skin Renewal
Polynucleotides are highly purified DNA fragments that support deep skin repair and regeneration while improving hydration and elasticity.
Products used may include:
Plinest® One
A highly purified polynucleotide treatment derived from salmon DNA designed to stimulate tissue repair and collagen production.
Glutanex® Glow
A regenerative PDRN solution combining polynucleotides with glutathione and peptides to support skin repair and radiance.
INNO-TDS® DNA Pept-HA (INNOAESTHETICS)
A regenerative solution containing polydeoxyribonucleotide (DNA), peptides, glutathione, and hyaluronic acid designed to stimulate collagen production and improve dermal density.
Polynucleotide microneedling is particularly effective for:
• Skin repair and regeneration
• Improving elasticity and firmness
• Hydrating and strengthening the skin
• Improving pigmentation and uneven tone
• Enhancing skin glow and vitality
PRP Microneedling — Natural Regenerative Therapy
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses growth factors derived from your own blood to stimulate healing and collagen production.
A small amount of blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. This plasma is then delivered into the skin during microneedling.
PRP microneedling helps:
• Improve skin texture and tone
• Reduce the appearance of acne scars
• Support collagen regeneration
• Enhance overall skin vitality
Because PRP comes from your own body, it provides a completely natural regenerative approach to skin rejuvenation.
This treatment is not recommended for:
• Active skin infections
• Open wounds
• Inflamed or uncontrolled acne flare-ups
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding (depending on treatment type, contact to discuss)
• Roaccutane use within the last 3 months
• History of keloid scarring
Prep
• Avoid active skincare (retinoids, acids, benzoyl peroxide) for several days prior
• Avoid sunbeds or excessive sun exposure
• Arrive with clean, product-free skin
Aftercare
• Avoid makeup, heat, sweating, and steam for 24–48 hours
• Use gentle hydration and barrier-supporting skincare
• Avoid exfoliants and strong active ingredients for several days
• Wear SPF daily and avoid direct sun exposure
Results
Skin appears plumper, smoother, clearer, and more radiant, with improved texture, stronger elasticity, and visible skin vitality.
Collagen regeneration continues over the following weeks, gradually improving skin firmness, glow, and overall skin quality.
A course of 5 treatments spaced approximately 4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results, with maintenance sessions spaced out throughout the year.
