Body Tattoo Removal – Laser
For tattoos up to 15cm. For larger areas, please contact us directly for a custom quote.
How It Works
We use a gentle, skin-conscious laser method to gradually fade unwanted body tattoos. Laser energy breaks the ink into tiny particles, which are naturally cleared by your body over time through the lymphatic system.
Because body tattoos tend to use deeper, more saturated ink than cosmetic tattoos, the process is steady and progressive—but always focused on preserving your skin’s integrity.
Why Our Method Works
We focus on skin safety over speed:
• Controlled settings tailored to your skin and tattoo
• Fading over time, not forced trauma
• A healing-led approach that gives your body time to recover between sessions
Darker pigments usually fade quicker than lighter or mixed colours.
Our Approach: Minimal Trauma, Realistic Results
We don’t push high settings to force rapid fading. Instead, we take a careful, measured approach to reduce risks like scarring or pigmentation changes.
You may experience:
• Redness or warmth for 1–3 days
• Light flaking or dryness
• Possible blistering—this is a normal part of the healing process for some skin types
Skin Suitability
• Fitzpatrick 1–3: Safe for treatment
• Fitzpatrick 4–6: Treated with adjusted settings and extended intervals for pigment safety
• Not suitable if the area has open wounds, active infections, or a history of keloid scarring
Sessions Needed
• Most tattoos need 4–8 sessions, spaced 8–10 weeks apart
• Older, faded tattoos may need fewer
• Bright or light colours often take longer to fade
Patch Testing
Included in your first session.
In most cases, we can continue after 10–15 minutes if no reaction occurs. For higher-risk skin types, we may wait up to 2 weeks before beginning full treatment.
Contraindications & Pre-Treatment Prep
• No Roaccutane (Accutane) for 6 months
• No sun exposure, sunbeds, or fake tan for 2 weeks before treatment
• Stop retinol, AHAs/BHAs, and exfoliants 1 week prior
• Make sure skin is intact—no irritation, cuts, or infection
• Shave the area 24 hours before if needed
Healing & Aftercare
To support healing and avoid complications:
• May blister—this is normal. Keep the area clean, dry, and covered with breathable clothing or dressing
• Do not pick any flaking, scabbing, or blisters—let the skin shed naturally
• No sun exposure until the area is fully healed
• No hot water directly—avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, and steam
• No exercise or sweating for 48 hours
• Avoid soaking (baths, pools) and friction for 7–10 days
You can apply a light, fragrance-free moisturiser like aloe vera if the area feels dry—but avoid anything heavy or perfumed unless advised.
